Ernst Stöttinger is founder and managing partner of ESSENTIEL which was established in 2006, ESSENTIEL is offering services in global product development, including industrial design, engineering, sourcing and marketing services for customers located in US, Asia and Europe.

 

Ernst Stöttinger holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (with a specialization in Communication Engineering & Wave Propagation) from the Technical University and a joint degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts (in Audio Engineering) in Graz, Austria.

 

From 1991 to 2006 Ernst Stöttinger held various positions at AKG Acoustics GmbH, a company of Harman International Ind. Inc. (NYSE-HAR). He played a decisive role in streamlining and reshaping the company's telecom and automotive business, turning AKG into the world leader for hands free microphones with customers such as Daimler, GM and others and a significant supplier for companies like Nokia. In early 2000, Mr. Stöttinger was appointed Vice President Research & Development. He turned AKG into the wireless technology leader of the Pro Audio Business and was strongly engaged in the mother company's global engineering and marketing platforms.

 

To round-off his business profile, Ernst Stöttinger engaged in executive education programs in areas such as accounting & finance, management and leadership from internationally renowned executive training institutions.
